Although Pancake and Waffle are great together, they can be adopted separately. Having been with us for a few months, we can see that they can live independently of each other just fine. Both are very social and love other dogs. Please reach out for information.

How did they come to GDS? We received an urgent call about two limping galgos wandering along a road. At first, we weren’t sure if they were mother and son or perhaps an older sister and younger brother, but it was immediately clear that both had been neglected and left to suffer in pain.

They turned out to be a male and female. Pancake, the older female, had a knee issue, likely the result of a long-standing cruciate injury. She still has a limp, but it doesn’t slow her down one bit or bother her at all. Despite everything they have endured, neither carries a trace of resentment. They greet everyone with affection and trust, making them almost heartbreakingly adorable.
