Bonnie was turned into GDS by her galguero, who said he “couldn’t be bothered” with her any longer. Whatever her purpose had been—brood mama or hunter—she was deemed useless. What luck for this beauty, though. Now Bonnie finally has a chance to be cherished and valued simply for being herself. She will make a wonderful companion, and our older dogs are always especially grateful to their new families. Originally, her galguero put the name FEA (ugly) in her passport. We couldn’t have that, so we re-christened her Bonnie—as she really is!
