Vega was rescued from the streets terrified and with a dreadful neck injury. A rope had embedded into her neck causing deep wounds all around. Trying to treat this was difficult in the height of summer with the flies and the fact we couldn’t touch her easily. She would get so stressed we would often need to sedate her to do a deep clean. Finally the wounds have healed and Vega is no longer terrified. She doesn’t like sudden movements still or obligated strong touch but she’s really getting there. Vega is just over a year old and ready to go. We would prefer other dogs in the home and no young young children as we don’t know how she would cope with that. She’s going to be so loving if someone gives her the space & chance to grow. She’s full of curiosity for her new journey ahead. Let’s get her a family! — Tina
