Newly arrived to GDS.
Nomi comforting Rudolph while waiting for the vet.
Rudolph has a horrible leg injury.
At the scene of the accident.

    Gender: Male
    Breed: Galgo
    Date of Birth: 01/12/20
    Date Rescued: December 2021

UPDATE: Rudolph recovered from his leg operation and is as good as new! He is a worried boy especially around men and needs time to adjust to start feeling safe in his new home. An energetic and bouncy boy in the play area, one might think he is quite confident but he can spook easily when outside walking. It is important to keep that in mind as he can pull the lead suddenly trying to escape from an uncomfortable situation. Rudolph will do best in a home with confident dogs to learn from. Please contact us for more information.

Christmas day is no different at GDS than any other day of the year. Rudolph had been hit by a car causing a terrible leg injury and we rushed out to save him. There is no rest when you rescue animals, they can’t wait and they don’t choose when to be hit and killed. Abuse doesn’t take a rest. This boy got a second chance because we never take a day off.
