UPDATE: Romeo has had his operation and it was more complicated due to the depth of the femur head. Anyway he’s doing great and we are hopeful for a good recovery. — Tina

Remember the injured boy who was handed in recently? Well he has a broken hip. Imagine the pain he’s been in all this time. Not even a painkiller to help him out. How did his hip get broken? In the video it seems the owner hits one of the dogs although we don’t see it, we hear it and see the dog run off. To break a hip that’s quite a force, usually a car or something but he’s not on the streets so very mysterious indeed. We called him Romeo and he will be operated on soon. Sadly because it’s quite chronic there is no garauntee the op will work and could result later in an amputation. Off course tho we try to avoid that first if there is a chance! So frustrating the incompetence of these hunters! On top of that we had to remove rotten teeth today!—Tina
