Just imagine—Percy and his sister Elsie were discovered living by a river. Clever enough to stay close to water, they managed to avoid the dehydration so likely in the hellish summer heat. How did they come to be in that situation? We’ll never know. Luckily, they were spotted and able to be caught. Now with us, they are worried, but hopefully it won’t be long before they learn that they are safe and cared for. Both would benefit from an experienced home where they can gain confidence, as we see time and time again with shy dogs. Percy and Elsie do not need to be adopted together.
