Pedro is 9yrs old and it’s time he found a home. Pedro was found run over but actually his injuries were not too bad. He has a very slight head tilt but nothing to be done. He’s fine and has seen the neuro vet. He has leishmania but it’s under control and we will of course do new bloods before leaving for any home. Galgos del Sol always offers to pay for medication like glucantime if it’s needed later if he finds a home in Spain. Sadly in other countries whilst we offer support the vets don’t always accept it so there are variables on that offer. Pedro has lived in the volunteer apartment on-site and has learnt the comforts of a sofa, a human bed and that of a home but he is still shy with those he doesn’t know and needs to see more of the world. Once he knows you he’ll be sleeping by your side forever your best friend. It’s his turn … let’s get him a home! — Tina
Another too common travesty, a galgo hit by a car and left to suffer. Luckily Pedro is now with us and recovering nicely. He has an undeniable spark and the motivation to heal.
