UPDATE: Another broken leg fixed. Merida arrived back in June and her broken leg was so infected they’ve only been able to operate now after heavy antibiotics. Let’s hope we can get her back pain-free and into a loving home now.

The new girl we rescued from the streets—now named Merida—has a broken leg and is in need of an arthrodesis surgery. Unfortunately, the procedure has to be delayed because she’s battling a severe infection. She’s currently on medication to help clear it up, and as soon as she’s stable, the vet will proceed with the operation. She must have been in so much pain… but she’s safe now and finally getting the care she needs.
