Mastins are a traditional Spanish working breed, commonly used as guard dogs on farms and industrial sites. Too often, they spend their lives tied up and isolated despite their gentle, loyal nature.
Mama Mia’s life is finally changing for the better. Free of chains for the first time, she has discovered that cuddles are far more enjoyable than guarding property. With puppies on the way, we are determined to make sure she enjoys every comfort as she prepares for her final motherhood. This time Mama Mia will be allowed to enjoy her pups until they are ready to be weened. Finally, then, she will be available for adoption and a loving family for the first time in her life.
