In the second week of December 2025, GDS took in twenty-five dogs from a variety of difficult circumstances. Some came off the streets, others from a perrera, another rescue, and a handful were surrendered by their galgueros. Each arrived with their own story, ranging from confident to deeply unsure. Ecuador is still very frightened. We don’t know what his life was like before he reached the rescue that contacted us, but they hoped a change of environment might help him find a home.
