Columbo has finally finished his heartworm treatment. He’s having a wee celebration and then would like a home please. He’s become a super confident boy after a tough start. — Tina

Columbo was the sweet boy caught in a pedal trap. He’s coming along in confidence & doing well. We haven’t been able to confirm his health yet as he has an inconclusive / low level positive heart worm result so we need to retest again later. The treatment is incredibly harsh and you may remember one of our dogs died from the injection so before diving in we want to make sure it’s necessary. We can’t put him up for adoption yet unless it’s in Spain and we will off course fund the next blood test and treatment if necessary. Such a shame to be held back in kennels. So in Spain he’s available for now. He’s approx 4/yrs old and very sweet. —Tina

Another abandoned galgo, Columbo was seen on his own, searching for food and shelter. Luckily, he was able to be trapped and is now safe with us. A little uncertain at first, we don’t believe it will be long before he realizes he’s safe, meals are regular, and treats and cuddles are available on demand. Columbo is a gorgeous brindle with two sweet white back paws. If you’re interested in giving this deserving boy a home, please reach out.
